This from an article by Rick Mooney of Hay & Forage Grower Magazine.

A North Dakota-based, ag auction company has launched a monthly Internet-only hay auction on the IQBID.com platform as a supplement to its existing live forage auction services.

Steffes Auctioneers, Fargo, has been conducting regularly scheduled, quality-tested hay auctions at its Litchfield, MN, facility since fall 2008.

As of this entry, we have FIFTY DAYS before our absolutely unreserved sale on June 30th, and all I can say is WOW. A PARTIAL list of what is in the sale SO FAR:

A bunch of Combines (including three 2010 models), heads, sprayers (all 2010 models), four wheel drive tractors (five 2010 models), mfd tractors (four 2010's), a planter (2010),  Belted Tractors (these are scraper tractors, but I would assume that some Ag belted tractors are coming as well), cultivators, grain trailers, NOT TO MENTION (Bring your construction buddies PLEASE)

Don Russell (Pastor of the West Union, Illinois 1st Baptist Church) has stage 4 lung cancer. He was approached about the idea of a tractor drive to raise funds for his treatment. He agreed if the money raised was not just for him. A 1948 John Deere A is being restored to be donated to Don to drive.
